I grew up in a working-class family, so standing up for working people is personal for me. As state representative, I will always put the interests of working people and local businesses ahead of those of wealthy CEOs. Whether you’re a farmer trying to make a profit, a student crushed by debt, or a family living paycheck to paycheck, I’m committed to being your voice in Lansing!
I will give working people a tax break before I vote for tax cuts that disproportionately favor the wealthy.
I will put Michigan workers first by guaranteeing that the companies that receive tax incentives to create jobs in Michigan will pay back every dime if they outsource those jobs.
I will grow our local economies by supporting the Michigan Jobs First plan to give Michigan companies an advantage in the competition for state contracts.
I will support rural broadband Internet access so that families have the tools they need for 21st-century education and communication and so that farmers can take advantage of new technologies and expanding markets.
